Submissions are welcome from any banking institution based in Africa including corporate headquarters or branch offices of international commercial or investment banks, emerging market funds, development finance institutions, micro-credit institutions, housing finance institutions, etc.

Any bank can submit for multiple awards. There is an administrative charge of $500 per application for every category. However, for institutions who enter for the first time, the fees are waived for the first application.

The following categories do not necessitate an entry:

African Banking Regulator,
African Finance Minister,
African Central Banker
and Lifetime Achievement Award.
