Nkosana Moyo, Managing Partner, Actis Capital, London

Nkosana has served on the boards of companies in the cement, sugar, finance, tourism and food sectors. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Investment Climate Facility (ICF) and the Africa Regional Advisory Boards of Unilever and Chairman of the London Business School, board for Africa.

Nkosana has a PhD in physics from Imperial College and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management. He is a World Economic Forum Global Leader of Tomorrow (GLT), and an Eisenhower Fellow.

Bineta Diop, Executive Director, Femmes Africa Solidarite, Switzerland

Madame Diop is a human rights activist; former Programme Coordinator, International Commission of Jurists (ICJ); Secretary, African Women’s Committee on Peace and Development (AWCPD). Madame Diop is also a Member, Advisory Group, UN Programme for Coordination and Assistance for Security and Development (PCASED). Member, International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC). Madame Diop’s expertise is in human rights issues, gender, peace, security and development.

Dr (Mrs) Virginia Anohu, Vice Chairman/CEO, MGSL, Nigeria

Dr Mrs Virgy Anohu is Nigeria’s leading Mortgage Banker and a very senior veteran pan-African Banker with top strategic management experiences from Diamond Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA), First City Monument Bank, Guardian Express Bank and now the Vice Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Mortgage Guaranty Savings and Loans Limited. She is on the Board of Universal Service Provision Board of the Nigerian Communication Commission. She is a Board member of the Premium Pension Limited. Dr Anohu who is a literary scholar has a passion for poetry and has written, directed and produced many theatre performances. She is a graduate of the University of Nigeria and Harvard Business School Executive Education Programmes.

Omari Issa, CEO, Investment Climate Facility, Tanzania

Mr Issa was previously Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Celtel International in the Netherlands, where he was instrumental in managing the company’s growth across Africa. Before that he spent 14 years with the IFC (International Finance Corporation) and six years with the World Bank in Washington DC.

Mrs Koosum Kalyan, Chairman, G8 Business Action for Africa

Mrs Koosum Kalyan has a BCom Law in Economics from the University of Durban Westville; Senior Adviser to Shell International; Adviser to President Mbeki; Senior Executive Management Programme, London Business School. Ms. Koosum is an adviser to the World Economic Forum and the Commonwealth Business Council.
