Selection Process

By the second week of June 2008, a shortlist of five entries in each of the categories will be selected by the ABA Advisory Committee. The latter is composed of the IC editorial team (African Business, New African, African Banker) and representatives from the Commonwealth Business Council and it benefits from the expertise of leading organisations and industry figures with an in-depth knowledge of the African business landscape. Once, the shortlist has been decided, nominees will be informed.

One winner and one runner-up in each of the categories will be chosen by the judging panel at a second meeting in June 2008. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on the evening of the 3rd July 2008.
