Welcome to the CBC-African Business Awards
The CBC-African Business Awards 2008 highlighted the acceleration of the rapidly transforming business landscape in Africa and celebrated the great strides that the Continent has made in the world of business. It rewarded entrepreneurial excellence and world-class best practices in business across a wide range of business sectors through sixteen different categories.
Just under 500 government, business and media leaders from Africa, Europe, Asia and the USA attended this unique event. It represented a great opportunity to give global visibility for African brands.
Prominent diplomats and businessmen including Ephraim Inoni, Prime Minister of Cameroon, Bethuel Mosisili, Prime Minister of Lesotho, Senator Daggash, Nigeria’s Minister of National Planning, Neville Isdell, Chairman of Coca Cola presented the Awards to the winners in a festive and memorable African night.
This year's CBC-African Business Awards were held on 3rd July 2008 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, United Kingdom. The date for the CBC African Business Awards 2009 will be announced soon.
