The special report on construction in your July issue was very interesting. While it is well known that South Africa was in a huge construction phase for the World Cup, it is not so well known that in many other parts of Africa, construction is also booming. As a contractor, I found the articles in the special report to be of value. There are many construction skills here in South Africa that can also be used in other parts of the continent but information about upcoming projects is difficult to find. In short, many of us in the industry would like to get much more involved in the major construction programmes now under way but some of us don’t know how to access information. Can you help?
